I am one of the 2400 who will form a part of Anthony Gormley's ‘One and Other’ project in 2009. I will be reading work by friends and peers by way of thanking them and representing the intellectual and personal journey which has led to the event of, in addition, reading my own work in one of the world's great public spaces.

I am one of six trustees of Cyprus Well, a new literature agency for the South West, set up after a lengthy period of detailed consultation and construction under the guidance of Arts Council South West. Cyprus Well will lead, fundraise for, create and administer a new literature network for South West England: Literature Network South West, fundraise for and deliver Grass Roots Literature South West, a programme of literature activity awards for all non-profit organisations and individuals to create new literature opportunities, upport writing and reader development in South West England. cypruswell.orgTEND Blogspot
TEND was a ten month artist residency at Trewidden Gardens, Penzance where artists David Paton and Jane Ansell developed new work and a record of their interactions between and the garden and the people who use it. I provided words in the form of haiku as a part of this interaction. While the formal residency has now ended, David and Jane are continuing with their artistic relationship to Trewidden.
